If a storm were to blow through the area and knock out the electricity, the employee and patrons would appreciate being able to know they re safe. Our Dual-lite brand ballast will provide the lighting units with the proper amount of power during an emergency situation.
The UFO – LP2 model operates high output T5 and T8 lamps and has a self-testing function to reduce worry for maintenance and wear and tear. It s great for indoor and outdoor use in low and high tempertures.

Applications
The UFO-LP2 is a low profile unit that s easy to install in tandem with a normal AC ballast in a fluorescent fixture. During normal operation, the lamp will run on AC power, once power fails emergency mode starts immediately for up to 90 minutes. It s great for new construction and retrofitting on an existing luminaire.
External Specifications
This fluorescent lamp autotransformer is built in unfinished cast aluminum and weighs only three (3) lbs. It has a reduced profile with two mounting feet on either end that fits most standard or high output 2 or 4 foot luminaries. The ballast also includes an LED charging indicator that can be installed to the body of the fixture for routine battery testing, per UL guidelines.
Electrical Specifications
This ballast operates a single or double 2 foot or 4 foot T5HO and T8HO lamp between 14-55 watts and is ideal for commercial buildings with dual line voltages. Included is a Nickel Cadmium (NiCad) battery which remains in charging mode during normal power operation. In the event that power is interrupted, prior to switching to emergency mode, end-of-lamp-life circuits will delay the battery for three (3) seconds to prevent and false tripping while saving bulb life.
